Brooklin- Whitby Digital X-Ray

A Digital X-ray is crucial to properly assess and diagnose the condition of the patient’s oral health. At Dr. Shane Snider Dentistry we use digital x-rays, which have the advantages of being quicker, easily manipulated on the computer, and can even be sent to family members and/or other dental specialists. During the patients visit we are also able to show the images to the patient on a large TV screen, and explain to them the findings of their x-rays. The use of digital x-rays means less radiation to the patient and is also more environmentally friendly (doesn’t use damaging chemicals and expensive film).
